Communal development and Turism To the moment there is a general lack of knowledge about the real impact in the development of eco-touristic projects in the development of the communities around them. The impact in the local economy as well as economic productivity of the touristic projects in the community are of extreme importance in the understanding of its effects in the communities involved. The better understanding of the changes provoked by the touristic projects in the communities will help the leaders in the communities to visualize the potential impacts in the environment and their communal dynamics when implemented. Recobery of green areas and communal gardens at Garabito (Tibas, San José) This proyect have the goals of developing a pilot project o communal gardens and recovering the park of the neighbor with native species of trees and other plants that bring shelter and food to different species of birds, butterflies, bats etc. Also, to incorporate the youth in a community service program which can lead to a better understanding of the link between nature and humankind. Systematic revision of the wasp genus Hypomicrogaster The braconid subfamily Microgastrinae is composed of approximately 52 genera that parasitize caterpillar larvae world wide, thus making them the one of the most important bio-controller group of lepidopteran pest. The genus Hypomicrogaster is not the exception, the genus has been used to control pest in pears, cereals and apple plantations. English course at Garabito (Tibas, San José) The children of this area participated strongly in this community development project by picking up garbage, cleaning the gutters and recovering the green areas with ornamentals and endemic trees.
