Environmental Impact Assessment

Description

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a administrative-juridical procedure which aims to identify, predict and interpret potential environmental impact of specific projects or activities in case of been implemented, as well as counter interacting negative outcomes. An EIA performed by the CIBRC aims at: studing the potential effects of the proposed activities on the environment, eliminating, minimizing or compensating negative outcomes of specific activities. In addition, a cost-benefit analysis of the environmental will be made. The EIA will be carried out by an interdisciplinary group of experts, who will create a report which will serve as an unbiased source of information on which decisions can be taken
