Organization

Introduction

The Central American Institute for Biological Research and Conservation (CIBRC) is currently constituted by four main directories  that have the objective to develop key aspects of the institute. The directories are under the control and regulation of the Admistrative Council. The Administrative Council is the executive organ of the CIBRC, which controls the activities of the institute, creates and organizes the development of the projects as well as their implementation throughout the four directories. The Administrative Council is subscribed to the Founder Assembly, which is the rector organism of our institute.

Direction of Project Implementation Has the objective to support and advise in the search for economic found sources, in the creation of proposals subscribed to the Direction of Research and the Direction of Academic Affairs. Also, evaluates the factivility and economic execution of the approved projects. More...

Direction of Research Has the objective to oversee the implementation of approved research projects currently developed by CIBRC, as well as to promote the interaction with other institutions and non-governmental organizations to increase the overall scientific and technical cooperation. More...

Direction of Academic Affairs Has the objective to develop, implement and promote the courses, workshops and other activities imparted by the CIBRC, as well as to evaluate and oversee the progress and results of those activities. More...

Direction of Environmental Development Has the responsibility to oversee and coordinate the CIBRC personnel as well as to implement and develop the plans for projects of environmental development that the CIBRC implements. More...
